Media: Iran lifts mining ban after May blackout

According to Iran International, the Iranian government has lifted restrictions on the mining of cryptocurrencies and has again opened access to miners who are licensed to conduct this activity:
The authorities turned off miners in May 2021, explaining this due to power shortages and dry weather. The publication noted that in winter, the government may turn off miners again if there is not enough electricity and new investments do not come to the sector.
