According to the  Financial Times , UK intelligence agencies have signed an agreement with Amazon to purchase a special AI-based solution that will allow agencies to analyze information and share data. This deal is classified and Amazon will not have access to it, the data will be stored in the UK.

The service will be joined by various UK intelligence services, including MI5, MI6 and GCHQ, and the Department of Defense will also be able to participate in joint operations. This solution will allow you to spend a few minutes searching for the right person, for example, using a huge audio database of voices.

The publication reported that the deal was completed back in 2021, but the amount was not disclosed. But according to preliminary calculations, Amazon will receive from $ 700 million to $ 1.4 billion in profit for its services in 10 years.
