Trump closes US immigration

Donald Trump promised to ban migrants from entering the United States to strengthen the fight against coronavirus. Political opponents criticized this decision.

Trump promised to sign a decree soon, thereby he wants to reduce the risk of infection of Americans with COVID-19. And also to improve the situation on the labor market, because 22 million Americans are already left without work.

Critics of this decision note that due to the closure of air travel, US immigration is already at a record low. In addition, with such a statement, Trump actually offered the Americans to go to work, which previously employed migrant workers.
