US predicts drop in oil production by 19%

US oil and gas production at the end of 2020 may fall by 2.1–3.3 million barrels compared with March data. Such data are provided in a joint forecast by the EIA, IEA and Vygon Consulting.
The United States will reduce oil production throughout the year. If in March 17.88 million barrels of oil were produced per day, then in April it was reduced to 17.26 million barrels. And in December, daily production will fall even further to 15.75 million barrels. According to the most pessimistic forecast, the overall decline during 2020 will be 19%.
